General description

The website remember.de offers users a web shop for high-quality home accessories and gift items.

Legal requirements

Our aim is to implement the requirements of the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG) and the associated Verordnung zum Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSGV) in the best possible way. These regulations transpose Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council on accessibility requirements for products and services and amending other laws (Directive (EU) 2019/882) into German law.

When developing our website, we based our technical requirements on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 and the Barrier-free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0).

We are still in the process of further optimising the functions of our website with regard to these standards in order to further expand digital accessibility. Such optimisation measures could, for example, affect compatibility with screen readers, readability or navigation.
