KF Design GmbH (REMEMBER^®) is recalling the following product: ZAPP magnetic game (item no. ZP1)

Colourful game pieces and a red string on a white background. The string lies loosely in an irregular pattern, with many flat, round pieces in colours such as green, blue, orange, black and white scattered within and around it. Some are stacked.

Why is the product dangerous?

The ZAPP magnet game contains small, very strong magnets – the coloured game pieces are magnets themselves. The magnetic flux index exceeds the permissible limit set by the EN 71-1 toy standard by more than eight times (measured at 410 kG²mm², with a maximum permissible limit of 50 kG²mm²). The individual game pieces are so small that they could be swallowed.

If two or more magnets – or a magnet together with a metallic object – are swallowed, they will attract each other as they pass through the digestive tract and penetrate the intestinal walls. This can lead to bowel obstruction, perforation of the bowel wall, internal injuries, blood poisoning and other life-threatening complications requiring immediate surgery. The risk of swallowing is particularly high for children under 3 years of age, as young children often put objects in their mouths. The recall applies regardless of whether there are children living in your household.

What should you do?

Stop using the ZAPP magnetic game immediately and store it out of the reach of children .
After contacting our customer service, dispose the entire product in your household trash (general waste).
Please use only one of the following options:

Case A: You purchased the product directly from REMEMBER (KF Design GmbH): You can request the refund directly from REMEMBER. Please refer to the notes under “Your refund”.

Case B: You purchased the product from a physical retailer: Return the product to the store where you purchased it. The retailer will handle the refund directly with you.

Case C: You purchased the product online (not directly from REMEMBER): Please contact your online retailer. They will handle the refund directly with you.

Your refund

You will be refunded the purchase price (Article 37 of Regulation (EU) 2023/988). To do so, please send us your name and your proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) to info@remember.de. If you no longer have a proof of purchase, a photo of the product in your possession is sufficient as evidence.

Please also briefly confirm that you have not yet received a refund for this product.

If you purchased directly from REMEMBER, we will refund the purchase price via the same method as your original payment. We ask for your patience: processing may take up to 4 weeks. We will make every effort to process your refund as quickly as possible.
